¡Salud! Mobile Wellness Clinics – Week of June 20, 2011
Christina Cleary, ¡Salud! Services Community Outreach Nurse, expressed this week her joy in visiting the vineyard sites for ¡Salud!’s mobile wellness clinics. It’s wonderful for her to finally meet the individuals in person with whom she’s spent so much time on the phone fielding advice calls. Leda’s Wellness Clinic Journal – 5/27/2011

Our ¡Salud! services team held the first wellness clinic today in Forest Grove. This vineyard site was the first to allow ¡Salud! access to their vineyard workers when the mobile wellness clinics began ten years ago, and is the traditional kick-off for the summer mobile clinic season. The vineyard crew at this site always greets our team with smiles of welcome, and is never shy about giving their honest opinion on the education materials provided. Read the rest of this entry »
Flu Vaccines are here!
The ¡Salud! Services team will be heading out to area vineyards between October 20 and November 11 to administer flu shots. 500 influenza vaccine doses are available and are free of charge to any adult, 18 years of age or older. The single dose vaccines are preservative and latex free.
If your vineyard or winery would like the ¡Salud! Services team to bring a flu shot clinic to your location, or if you would like to find out where they will be on a given date, please contact leda.garside@tuality.org for more information. Please allow about 1.5 hours per clinic.
