Bottle Sales Contribution Program Overview
The ¡Salud! Bottle Sales Contribution Program allows wineries to join our mission by contributing a specified monetary amount from bottle sales directly to ¡Salud!. This contribution is flexible according to donor giving abilities and is 100% tax deductible.
Contributors can choose to donate a pre-determined amount of money per bottle sold, the proceeds from a particular varietal or cuvée, or a specified percentage of total bottle sales. These donations can be made year round or periodically with a portion of bottle sales from a specific day, weekend, or special event.
How to Contribute
The suggested donation is $0.10 per bottle or 0.5% of total bottle sales. You may choose to donate in the following ways:
As a per bottle donation; the amount is up to you depending on your giving ability
As a percentage of total bottle sales; the amount is up to you depending on your giving ability
As proceeds from a specific bottling or from a special cuvee:
- 100% of proceeds from the varietal
- A portion of proceeds from the varietal (either amount per bottle or percentage of sales)
Periodically – a portion of bottle sales during a specified day, weekend, or special event.
Donations may be provided in the following ways:
- Make a pledge for a donation amount based on the previous year’s bottle sales
- Make a donation after bottle sales income is received and once actual amounts are known
