114 grants for emergency care, urgent care, hospitalizations, x-rays, lab work and emergency dental care were provided in 2006. A recent analysis shows that we deliver $3 of service for every $1 spent because of relationships with partner provider organizations.
¡Salud! works closely with patients to guide them through the process of patient billing to ensure that the appropriate paperwork for financial assistance and/or enrollment in the Oregon Health Plan is filed with medical providers. If patients are unable to qualify for financial assistance from a provider, the ¡Salud! staff negotiates the bill and ¡Salud! often provides financial assistance.
