Because ¡Salud!’s healthcare professionals closely monitor and advocate for these families, many costly medical expenses are avoided.
Our nurses and health educators are bilingual/bicultural medical professionals who work tirelessly to build a cultural bridge between the workers and the healthcare system. They interact directly with the workers and their families to assist them with health problems and accessibility issues as they arise. In addition, more than 3,000 advice calls are logged annually.
Over the years, our staff has identified numerous high-risk patients who would have otherwise remained untreated. Through their dedication, the ¡Salud! staff have earned the trust of the workers who know and appreciate that they will receive quality and compassionate care.
